Remembering Those Who Stood For Sushant

As known to all, the mysterious death of Sushant Singh Rajput has taken many turns. I shall not write more about what is already there with @republic and out in the other media as well. This short article is only towards remembering the voices that ensured this justice.

The first voice was that of Arnab Goswami. The man has achieved what very few to dare to attempt, especially keeping in mind the hostility towards him from the state security, the local police department. It takes a lot more to do what he did, for it is no rocket science to conjecture that at some point in this span of more than 60 days, his TRP might have fallen, especially after 8-10 days of daily telecast. But the man didn’t budge from his determination from getting justice for Sushant Singh Rajput, a hero who had no one in family to sponsor any media campaign anymore as he wasn’t a nepotist.

Arnab Goswami pursued the case, chased every detail, took huge risks with his on-air content and viewership, his competitors and above all, his own media house. Having undergone investigations for hours at the police station had not weakened him from his job as a true journalist; he went for the cause and he won it. Kudos to him for his mighty pursuit of the near impossible.

The next name that deserves many thanks is that of our own Draupadi, Ms Roopa Ganguly @roopaspeaks. She was the first person to speak and stand up for Sushant Singh Rajput. She relentlessly carried out daily trending of the hashtag #CBIForSushant, kept reiterating that his wasn’t a case of suicide and raised her voice fearlessly when everyone had almost fallen for the malicious narrative of Sushant being under depression. I thank her for her originality, her unmaligned emotions for Sushant whom she called beta in one of her tweets and her speaking up in the very early, initial days itself.

Thanking Kangana Ranaut, the real Queen not just of Bollywood or bullywood as she likes to put it, but a Queen who really cares for justice, is courageous like a bull, completely dedicated to the path of talent-based, ethical working, fearless as a true Kshatrani and above all, a Queen that rules hearts of a billion Indians. It was after her interview with Arnab Goswami that the cause came to limelight, with over 1 lakh tweets trending on the top. A BIG THANKS to present age Manikarnika, our own Laxmibai Kangana Ranaut, who stands taller than the tallest of names of Bollywood. Without her candid interview, it would have been an impossible task to cause an awakening among the masses.

This article cannot be complete without a separate mention of a name which the opposition political leaders and their media houses/channels don’t want us to associate with the justice we received today, is that of the national giant BJP. The party has worked relentlessly for betterment of Indians irrespective of the Himalayan obstacles and shortfalls created by the previous govt. Had it not been for the BJP associate of the family of Sushant Singh Rajput, had they not advised his family to file a separate FIR in Bihar, given the hostility from Mumbai Police, this case would have never reached this stage. A salute and huge applause for the BJP Bihar karykarta who thought of this brilliant step and guided Sushant’s family to initiate a separate FIR from Bihar.

The family lawyer Mr Vikas Singh ji should be given a special mention as he fearlessly faced, what we call in the language of Mr Rajdeep Sardesai as “media trial”, in the very studios of Mr Sardesai. His efforts and detailed preparation of the case led to the verdict today. He has the gratitude of every heart that stands for justice. Many thanks to him.

Other media houses took up the case only after relentless telecasting done by @republic, however, they do deserve our thanks for their work.

Fans of Sushant deserve a special mention too, because their love for the late superstar did its magic somewhere and a mafia that ran smoothly for decades got challenged for the first time with such a huge force. Thank you Fans and Viewers, your love triumphs.

Somewhere in the heavens above, I see a smile looking at each one of us, at each of the above mentioned and saying he is here to stay, in our hearts.
